Light carbide particles are high-performance carbide wear-resistant particles prepared 100% from virgin materials. They have physical properties such as high hardness, good wear resistance, strong impact resistance, and high corrosion resistance.

In recent years, it has been widely used in mining aggregate crushing, construction equipment, metallurgy, hydropower engineering, and agricultural wood and powder crushing.

As light carbide wear-resistant particles, they are often compared with traditional tungsten carbide particles. Its low cost and high quality make it widely used in various fields.

Its price can be controlled at 50% or even lower than the conventional grade of tungsten carbide particles (YG8), but its service life as a wear-resistant part can be maintained at more than 80% of the original basis.

And our continuous research and development is further improving its performance, making its service life gradually close to that of traditional tungsten carbide particles.

According to the different needs of different industries for wear resistance and impact resistance, we have many matching grades to maximize their service life under the most suitable working conditions.

Details

There are many ways to improve the service life of carbide wear-resistant parts. On the premise of the most suitable grade:

One is to improve the quality of cemented carbide.

The second is to improve the bonding strength between the cemented carbide and the matrix (such as changing the gluing method to welding).

The third is to change the strength of the matrix, use tungsten/light carbide particles for surface processing, or add tungsten/light carbide particles when casting the matrix to increase the strength of the matrix. This is also the most direct and effective way to increase the service life of wear-resistant parts and minimize costs.

Usually we will refer to the working conditions used by customers to select the best grade to obtain the longest service life.

For example, when used in crushers, we usually ask customers about the feed size of the crushed materials, the material of the crushed materials, etc… or the area of use.
(For example, the cobblestones in the Jialing River Basin are many times harder than ordinary cobblestones, so the same brand of stone used in the Jialing River Basin will have its service life halved.)

When used on agricultural machinery, we usually ask customers whether the worn contact surface is sand or mud, or other roads that wear out quickly.
